fighting hunger together!

August 2023: $16,000
With GiveBIG matching donations, Food Lifeline raised a total of $173,000!

July 30, 2022: Bar Vacilando, Black Bottle Seattle, and Black Bottle Bellevue continue to give back to our communities most in need with our annual donation of $23,834 to FoodLifeline. We are thrilled to learn that an anonymous donor matched our donation dollar for dollar making the combined total for the year a whopping $47,667!

This combined cash contribution will allow for 238,333 fully nutritious meals to reach our underserved communities who need it most.

For each food item our guests purchase at one of our restaurants, we donate an equivalent nutritious meal for our underserved communities. To our fabulous crew and our amazing guests, we thank you for helping make this contribution possible.   ❤️

2021: We made a commitment that if we’re fortunate enough to stay in business after the pandemic eases we would double down on our pledge to give back to our communities in need. For the last ten years we’ve made annual donations to Food Lifeline, which is a fantastic not-for-profit organization committed to helping underserved communities fight hunger.

For each plate our guests purchase, an equivalent nutritious meal is made possible through Food Lifeline. With your help and on our shared behalf, to date since April 2021 when Black Bottle reopened, we made a donation equivalent to 15,649 meals. We want to thank our amazing crew and all our partners, vendors, Food Lifeline, and guests, thank you! May we continue to serve you. And together continue our privilege to donate to those most in need.
